Many of our offshore corporate clients do business with international companies - whether through trading, investments, manufacturing or personal services. For many, there is a need to first know as much as possible about these companies before entering into contracts, negotiations or other financial arrangements.

To that end, we offer international company searches and credit status report services to our clients. These can be ordered from OBI with normal or expedited delivery. In cases where the information obtained is not in English, we can provide translating services.

Company credit reports

OBI can obtain credit reports for any corporation registered worldwide. While some details differ from country to country, in general you’ll receive the information you need, including:

  • All officially registered names of the company
  • Address, telephone and fax numbers
  • Bank details (name and address of bank)
  • Publicly disclosed financial information, including credit problems
  • Publicly registered legal activity, including company name changes
  • Owners, members and officers of the company at time of incorporation, as well as publicly disclosed details regarding organizational structure, i.e., number of employees
  • Trade references

Company account information is also available, and will disclose all publicly registered trade accounts linked to the company in question. In addition, we can obtain for you all the information that was publicly registered at time of incorporation, also known as a company registry search. Even if you are unsure of the company’s true origins, we can conduct a worldwide registry search to get the information you need.
