Australia 2018 World Cup Home Shirt

Australia national team is known as “Socceroos” by both the Australian people and the Football Federation Australia (FFA), the governing body for soccer. The nickname was first used by Sydney journalist Tony Horstead when he went to South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It represents not only a cultural propensity for the use of colloquialisms in Australia but also the Australian English use of the sport’s name. Besides, the nickname is related to the kangaroo and it is a combination of “soccer and kangaroo”.

The squad has got the runner-up and the third place in 1997 and 2001 FIFA Confederations Cups; it won AFC Asian Cup in 2015 and got the runner-up in 2011; it won OFC Nations Cup four times and got two runners-up.

With the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup, Nike and the FFA jointly unveiled the brand new home and away shirts 2018 recently for Australia national team. Inspired by the glorious history of the team, designers recalled the exciting stories between Australia and the World Cup and the shirts aimed to pay tribute to the pioneers of professional footballer in the country.

It is a memorable day in the history of Australian football when “Socceroos” defeated a powerful opponent and once again reached the final stage of the World Cup after 32 years on November 16, 2005. That victory is still widely regarded as an important turning point in Australian football.

“Mark Viduka, the captain of the team at that time, called on every player to wear a yellow shirt both on and off the court in a public statement and to create ‘a golden ocean’,” said Pete Hoppins, Nike’s senior design director for football apparel,“It was the slogan of the game that inspired the design of new jerseys.”

The home shirt 2018 is a yellow one. The home shorts aren’t green. Instead they are yellow. The socks are yellow, too. This change is expected to encourage Australian players to prepare well for the games of the 2018 World Cup. The golden jersey with dark green details and unique design on cuffs responds to the slogan “Golden Ocean”. It is made of Nike Astro Mesh Dri-Fit fabric, which is much lighter and more comfortable. The team logo is lighter than previous one and is the most breathable one.

The new dark green away jersey is decorated with bright yellow details, symbolizing young players’ vitality.

“Green and yellow are the traditional colors of Australia national team, so we want to apply green directly to the design of the away jersey. The inspiration for the yellow design on front of the away jersey also comes from the great victory in 2005. The jersey worn by the team players in that game has a similar wedge-shaped pattern.” said Hoppins.

I believe that millions of fans of the national team long to get the discount football kits. They are now available at out online store. You can get a shirt with the name and number of your favorite player. Please visit the website and we are waiting for you.

2018 Colombia World Cup Home Football Shirt

On 17 March 2018, the official website of Colombian Football Federation(FCF) announced a new list of national team players. James Rodríguez, Falcao and Moreno were included in this list. They would play games against France and Australia for their country.

James Rodríguez played games and performed well in the South American U-20 Championship(three assists), FIFA U-20 World Cup(three goals and three assists) and Toulon Tournament in 2011(two goals and three assists), representing Colombia. Due to his excellent performances, James was awarded a few individual awards, including FIFA U-20 World Cup top assist provider and Best Player Toulon Tournament. As a promising football star, he has gained international attention and is regarded as a key member of the Colombia senior squad.

Radamel Falcao García Zárate(Radamel Falcao) currently plays for Ligue 1 club AS Monaco as a professional striker. Nicknamed “El Tigre(The Tiger)” or “King of the Europa League”, he helped Monaco win Ligue 1 in the 2016-17 season. Falcao played for his country in the 2001 South American Under-17 Football Championship and scored one goal. After two years, he was called up to play for the U-20 team. In the 2005 South American U-20 Championship, he won the tournament with his teammates. Falcao got the UEFA Europa League Top Scorer award in the 2010-11 season with 17 goals and in the 2011-12 season with 12 goals.

Giovanni Moreno is now a member of Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club and he plays as an attacking midfielder. Moreno made his international debut on 20 November 2008 in a game against Nigeria. The fact that he was selected as a member of Colombia national team was good news for him.

Adidas and the FCF have jointly unveiled the brand new home shirt for Colombia national team. A number of talented players such as James Rodríguez would wear this jersey to participate in the upcoming World Cup.

The yellow home shirt was inspired by the classic shirt worn in the 1990 World Cup and was made by advanced craftsmanship and innovative technologies. Both sides of the jersey are decorated with blue and red patterns, displaying colors of the Colombia national flag and reinterpreting the designs of the 1990s. The slogan “UNIDOS POR UN PAIS(United for a country)” is printed at the back of the collar.

Adidas Climachill technology was used in match jerseys for the first time. The technology, zero-degree titanium yarns and mesh fabric can keep players cool and dry in games.

Completing the home kit, there are navy blue shorts and red socks. Besides, the socks are also embroidered with “FCF”. The yellow shirt, blue shorts and red socks coincided with the color of the national flag, paying tribute to Colombia.

“We have created countless football products, innovative technologies and classic designs for decades. Well-designed and brand new football products aim to show respect to those. Like players, passionate fans also hope to see a new shirt with modern designs that can be immediately recognized on and off the count.” said Juergen Rank, the Senior Design Director of Adidas.
